FIFA Official Bribed for Qatar World Cup 2022?
Austin "Jack" Warner, former vice president of FIFA, is now facing new allegations that he was bribed to
influence the outcome of the 2022 World Cup bidding. It was reported that he accepted a sum of almost $2 Million from a Qatari firm. Mr. Warner and Qatar's 2022 World Cup organizing committee has repeatedly denied the allegations.
It is understood that the FBI is currently investigating Warner and his alleged connection to the Qatari bid.
