Chile Defeats Australia 3 - 1
Chile defeated Australia 3 -1 in Cuiaba to take the 2nd place in the Group B standings.
Australia had a slow start, as goals from Alexis Sanchez and Jorge Valdivia saw them trail 2-0 after 14 minutes, but Tim Cahill scored at his third World Cup to get his side team into the match. The game was close until Jean Beausejour scured Chile's victory.
